Cubs sign Grabow to a two-year contract

Friday 4:30pm: The Cubs have signed Grabow to a two-year, $7.5 million contract.

Thursday 6:40pm: The Cubs have agreed on a two-year contract with John Grabow

Thursday 6:34pm: The Chicago Cubs are reportedly close to signing relief pitcher John Grabow to a two-year contract.  The Cubs acquired Grabow from Pittsburgh in July.  Grabow had a 3.24 ERA in 75 games in 2009.  Grabow will continue to be the team's top left-handed setup relief pitcher.
