The Boston Red Sox named DeMarlo Hale their new bench coach. Hale served as the third base coach for the Red Sox for the past four seasons.
Ron Johnson was named the team's first base coach. Johnson was the manager at Triple-A Pawtucket last season.
Tim Bogar will be the third base coach in 2010. Bogar was the Red Sox first base coach in 2009.
