The Atlanta Braves signed Takashi Saito to a one-year, $3.2 million contract. Saito can earn an additional $2.3 million in incentives. He was 3-3 with a 2.43 ERA in 56 games for the Boston Red Sox in 2009. He spent the three previous seasons with the Los Angeles Dodgers and has a career ERA of 2.05.
